It’s summer and we are traveling and going to family events and reunions and we are taking photos with our smartphones. Lots and lots of photos. I currently have 127,747 Photos and 1,678 videos… OMG! 😉

Using your iPhone and or Android as a base of operations… gather your photos from your texts, emails, and social media and save them into the photo gallery app. Both the Android and iPhone photo apps have the ability to make albums (or photo folders).

On your iPhone

1. Open the Photos app
2. Go to Albums
3. Tap the + button
4. Select New Album
5. Type the Name that you want to Organize
6. Select the photos to add to that album

On your Android phone

1. Open the Google Photos app
2. Tap Library
3. Tap the + sign
4. New Album
5. Name it
6. Tap Select photos
7. then tap each photo you’d like to add

I need to take my own advice. Remember to edit, delete and empty the recently deleted album. Once the photos are organized into Albums, it becomes super easy to share them and upload them to Shutterfly to make printed photo books.
