Every time I use the Zoom app to teach a class or consult with a private client or use it for my nephew’s graduation or a college or high school reunion… I am reminded of one of my personal favorite childhood memories.
For those of you who grew up in the 70s, do you remember a TV show entitled Zoom? I do, and I found the video link on YouTube https://youtu.be/unW4GOJw4ro so that you may watch and then sing along to the catchy and addictive lyrics too.
The Zoom song and TV show reminds me of a nostalgic time when apps were appetizers, a screen meant one living room TV and children sang along and interacted with the program.
For the last two months, I have participated in and hosted over 45 Zoom meetings, classes, reunions, and graduations. It has been wonderful being able to see my clients, my friends, and my family on my iPhone, 27″ HP All-in-One PC, and/or my MacBook Air.
The Zoom app has brought the world closer together and has helped us stay connected and in touch and keep our human interactions healthy. I am thankful for this technology, and I will continue to sing the “Zoom” song in my head whenever I use the app. 😉
